This pattern was specifically designed to be the ideal size for cross-stitching names onto Christmas stocking cuffs.  (Check out my shop to purchase your stockings.)  

Larger Fonts (with letters measuring 10-20 stitches wide) can usually accommodate names up to 9-10 letters long (assuming your cuff fabric is about 100 stitches wide and there are no additional motifs to either side of the name).

All of my cross stitch patterns are easy to stitch and perfect for beginners.  Most of them include whole cross-stitches ONLY!  No fancy stitches and (usually) no back stitching so that you can finish your project even faster.
